About Us

Our Mission

To lead people to Christ, and to ground believers new and established alike in the understanding of God and His kingdom, that they may grow into spiritual maturity and walk in the Christianity of the apostles, practiced in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The teachings on this site are prayerfully researched and, in many cases, personally lived out under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, so as to render clear and concise teaching on living as a Christian and growing with God's Spirit.

What We Believe

The Nature of God

We believe in one God whom the Bible calls the Father, from Whom are all things; and in one Lord, His Son, Jesus the Christ, through Whom are all things; and in the Holy Spirit, in Whom are all things.

God is the Father. He dwells in unapproachable light. The Son is the Light that emanates from Him, God from God, eternally begotten: Light from Light, with neither beginning nor end. The Holy Spirit is the Eternal Spirit who proceeds from the Father, Spirit from Spirit.

The Father is God by being the Source of all things, Himself without a source. The Son is God by being the Son, bearing the Father's own nature. He is God by being the Radiance of the Father's glory and the exact representation of His substance (Hebrews 1:3), the One through whom the Father is seen and made known. He is God by being the One through whom the Father works all things. The Holy Spirit is God by being the One in whom the Father is known and experienced. And the Son and the Spirit are both eternally from the Father, the One God. Amen.

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ, promised by God to Abraham: "In your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 22:18). And that Seed, the Bible tells us, is Christ (Galatians 3:16).

Thousands of years later, God's only begotten Son came on the scene: the promised Seed, bringing those blessings into effect. And these blessings are enormous, all wrapped in His atoning sacrifice, which purchased for us the remission of sins, bodily healing, and an unhindered relationship with God.

We believe that the remission of sins and bodily healing are both in the atonement, and that both are vital to the Messianic office of our Lord Jesus. When John the Baptist sent to ask whether He was the One who was to come, the Lord pointed to precisely this: the blind seeing, the lame walking, the deaf hearing, the poor hearing good news (Matthew 11:4-5), the very signs Isaiah had given of the coming of God to save His people (Isaiah 35:4-6). Amen.

And the Lord Jesus is alive, still the promised Messiah, and He continues His Messianic work today, bringing souls into God's kingdom and healing the bodies of the sick and all who are oppressed by the devil, through His Church, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the ultimate authority for faith and life. All our content is grounded in Scripture.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16

The Church

We believe in the importance of the local church, and we encourage all believers to connect with a Bible-teaching community.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together." — Hebrews 10:24-25
